  • Maintenance Mode: When enabled, login is blocked for everyone except whitelisted users (applies to Email and Google sign-in).
  • Announcements: Full message now displays in the Admin panel with a quick “View” action; in-app notifications show the correct message text.

  • Admin Downloads: Improved PDF/CSV/DOC exports for analytics.

What is Foodo?

Foodo connects market donors and food receivers to reduce food waste using live listings, chat, and donation claiming.

How to install

Android (APK)

  1. Tap the Download APK button above or use this link: /landing/downloads/FoodoOfficalApp.apk.
  2. When download finishes, open the file from your browser or Files app.
  3. If prompted, allow installs from your browser (Settings → Install unknown apps). Then tap Install.
  4. Open Foodo and grant location/notifications when requested.

Security: only install APKs you trust. We recommend publishing to Google Play for wide distribution—see deploy notes below.

iOS (App Store / TestFlight)

Apple requires apps be distributed via the App Store or TestFlight.

  • If Foodo is on the App Store, tap the App Store link in the stores section and install normally.
  • For TestFlight builds, we'll provide a TestFlight invitation link — tap it and follow the TestFlight instructions.

To publish on the App Store we need an Apple Developer account, provisioning, and an App Store listing.

Progressive Web App (recommended for quick install)

  1. Open this page in Chrome, Edge, or a Chromium browser on Android and look for "Install" in the browser menu or tap the Install as App button above.
  2. On iOS (Safari), tap the Share button → "Add to Home Screen" to install a shortcut.

Why does Foodo ask for location?

Location is used to match donations with nearby receivers and show relevant listings.
